Ironically, due to the rerouting of some bus routes, new stops will have to be installed in other locations.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) released a draft of criteria to be used by the local "Roundtables" to decide the project list for the 2012 regional transportation one cent sales tax referendum. Local governments and the Atlanta Regional Commission, along with the public, can submit comments to GDOT on the criteria.
It is a bit confusing, but the process is this: The Director of Planning for GDOT created criteria to be used in determining the list of eligible projects to be funded with revenue from a regional one cent sales tax for transportation. Once these criteria are finalized, they will be used to generate a list of transportation projects. A "Roundtable" of local elected officials from all the counties in the ten county Atlanta region and Mayors from the cities will select the final list of projects. The voters will be asked in the July 2012 election to pass a one cent sales tax to fund that list of projects.
